Game settings

Reference for every game setting, including who can join, when it's available, scoring, and the learning experience.

Every game has its own settings. Open them by going to your classroom, clicking the game, and selecting the Settings tab. The fields below are grouped the way the UI groups them.

This page is a reference. For task-oriented walkthroughs, see manage games and organize classrooms.

Access

Auto-assign

  • Type. Toggle.

  • Default. Off.

Common issues

Participants can't access the game. Status must be Active, the start date must have passed, the participant must be enrolled or have the join link, and the password must match.

Auto-assign isn't working. The toggle must be on, the participant must be a classroom member, the game must be Active, and the participant cap can't be reached.

Settings aren't saving. Click Save before leaving the page. Confirm you have Classroom Manager or Tenant Manager access. Refresh the page if the values look stale.
