For virtual events

At least an hour before the event, test your camera, microphone, and ensure your device is charged or plugged in so you can stay connected throughout the day. It’s also a good idea to have your volunteers join early so they can test their equipment, and so you can assign them host permissions and allow them to move in and out of breakout rooms.

Note: We have had great success running virtual events over Zoom. We encourage using breakout rooms to have participants collaborate during the event.
